The men in the picture here turned an idea into a reality. They are police and corrections officers from various bureaus, many of whom did not know each other prior to this team being created. They have formed a bond that will last a lifetime. Read More

A More Discreet Option

August 30, 2022 | 911media

The Department encourages you to use the Police Employee Assistance Program (PEAP) whenever you need to talk or are going through a hard time in your life. The Department wants you to believe that anything you say to PEAP is confidential and that no one else will know about your conversation. Read More

Membership Does Have Its Privileges

August 30, 2022 | 911media

One of my favorite movies is Crimson Tide, which is about a mutiny on a nuclear submarine. There is a scene where an executive officer (played by Denzel Washington) is talking to the submarine’s captain (played by Gene Hackman) about the morale of the sailors on the submarine. Read More
