LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) – How safe is your car? In Las Vegas, not as safe as last year.
LVMPD statistics show neighborhoods throughout Las Vegas have seen a rise in car thefts, almost 8 percent. A national study also reflects the increase, but there are a few states that see more car theft than Nevada.
According to the National Insurance Crime Bureau, in 2014, the top 3 cities were all in California:
1.) San Francisco Area
2.) Bakersfield
3.) Stockton, Lodi
