Early last week, a North Las Vegas police officer experienced a medical episode that left him in critical condition at Sunrise Hospital.
Since that time, Sunrise has exhausted its supply of A-positive blood. Anyone with A-positive blood is asked to donate. You can go to Vitalant Las Vegas, located at 6930 W. Charleston.
Thank you in advance for your help and support. The membership and Board of Directors of the LVPPA wish our brother a speedy recovery. You and your family are in our prayers.

The 2024 Police vs. Fire Charity Tackle Football Game was a tremendous success for our charities. The popularity of this game continues to grow due in part to those who volunteer their time for a great cause.
Byron Teach is one of those people. You may not have seen him at the game, but you certainly heard him. Byron announced the game and called the play-by-play action.
When he is not donating his time to charitable events, Byron is the assignment desk manager at KSNV News 3, Las Vegas.
LVPPA Executive Director Greg Stinnett had the privilege of presenting Byron with a plaque on behalf of a grateful association.
Thank you, Byron.
