Sergeant Douglas King died from complications as a result of contracting COVID-19 in the line of duty.
Sergeant King had served with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for 17 years. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, a granddaughter, mother, father, grandmother, brother, and sister.
