A huge thank-you to Las Vegas!
The power of social media is scary cool. Three days ago, we were asked to push out a request.
Last week, a North Las Vegas police officer suffered an on-duty medical episode that left him fighting for his life at Sunrise Hospital. During that time, Sunrise exhausted its A-positive blood supply.
The response to our post was outstanding. A crazy amount of our followers and citizens in our community stepped up to donate.
Thanks again, Las Vegas and LVPPA followers. You are the best!

*Retirement Alert*
Congratulations to LVMPD Corrections Officer Kyle Cox, who retired this past week after serving Las Vegas Metro and our community for over 25 years.
LVPPA Executive Director Myron Hamm had the privilege of presenting Kyle with a plaque on behalf of a grateful association.
Congrats on a great career and a well-earned retirement!

Early last week, a North Las Vegas police officer experienced a medical episode that left him in critical condition at Sunrise Hospital.
Since that time, Sunrise has exhausted its supply of A-positive blood. Anyone with A-positive blood is asked to donate. You can go to Vitalant Las Vegas, located at 6930 W. Charleston.
Thank you in advance for your help and support. The membership and Board of Directors of the LVPPA wish our brother a speedy recovery. You and your family are in our prayers.
