Every New Year’s Eve, the LVPPA deploys a team to the Las Vegas Strip to feed our officers who are charged with safeguarding the partygoers.

One of the biggest reasons we are able to pull this off year after year is the generosity of others.

Last week, members of our Executive Board had the privilege of presenting Rick Vonfeldt with a plaque on behalf of our membership. Rick is the vice president of security and surveillance for Caesars Palace, the president of the Las Vegas Security Chiefs Association and a retired Las Vegas Metro Police lieutenant. He is also instrumental in securing a strategic area for us to accomplish our mission.
