CMSGT. JOSEPH LOMBARDO U.S. Air Force, Retired Joseph C. Lombardo, of Las Vegas, passed away March 7, 2016, at Nathan Adelson Hospice. He was born Jan. 4, 1936, in Chicago, to Joseph and Mary Lombardo. At the age of 17, he joined the U.S. Air Force, where he served for 31 years, before retiring from Nellis Air Force Base, in Las Vegas. He was also an employee of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for 12 years. Joseph’s hobbies included home and vehicle repair, along with every type of fishing imaginable. He is survived by his wife, Sarah; his siblings, Marylyn, Ann and Charles; his children, Joseph Lombardo and Tina Adkins; and his granddaughter, Morgan Lombardo. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 21, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive.
