LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) – At least 100 people have been killed inside a Paris concert hall where attackers seized hostages. The hostage-taking was one in a series of at least six attacks across the French capital.
Metro Police says they are monitoring the situation in Paris and say at this time there are no known threats to the Las Vegas area.
KSNV received the following statement from Metro Police:
“As we do whenever there is a terrorist type attack in the world, our Homeland Security Section and Fusion Center assess our own city if we need to increase security anywhere or make any public statements. We also work very closely with our strip resort security partners. At this time, we have no known threats to the Las Vegas area, but we are in a vigilant mode.”
