Silvano Alves captured his third world title in four years when he went 6-for-6 at the 2014 PBR World Finals to win $1.27 million and surpass Justin McBride as the richest Western athlete in history. Alves is only the second man to win three World Championships – Adriano Moraes won the title in 1994, 2001 and 2006 – and was the first man to win back-to-back titles in 2011 and 2012. At only 26, a fourth title seems a probability and a successful defense seems a viable possibility for Alves.

The Thomas & Mack Center box office hours are Monday-Friday, 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm. The box office is closed on Sundays, except on event days.
