The Law Enforcement Assistance Fund (LEAF) is the LVPPA’s charity that affords us the ability to assist the family members of member officers who die in the line of duty.
We are there for birthdays, Christmases and graduations. The LEAF charity also ensures the children and surviving spouse receive a college education.
In addition to our own members funding LEAF through payroll deductions, donations by citizens and groups have a tremendous impact on our ability to sustain the program. The George Maloof Police vs. Fire Charity Football Game played each May is always a successful event.
On September 14, the Las Vegas Ballpark will host the Police vs. Fire Charity Baseball Game sponsored by Eglet Adams Eglet Ham Henriod. This game will raise money for LEAF and the PFFN charity.
General admission is free. VIP tickets are $100. Please come out and support this great cause and watch your first responders battle it out on the baseball field.
