Mark your calendars! 3rd Annual NEVADA LAW ENFORCEMENT APPRECIATION DAY scheduled for January 7, 2017 from 12-4pm at the Police Memorial Park.
 
Mayor Carolyn Goodman and Sheriff Joseph Lombardo will be in attendance. Everyone is invited to wear blue in support of Law Enforcement Officers. Enjoy displays from LVMPD K-9, SWAT, Recruiting, Search & Rescue, along with Officers from North LVPD, Henderson PD, Nevada Highway Patrol, CCSD Police, UNLV Police, and more. Write a “thank you” card to Officers and it will be delivered to an LVMPD Area Command. Meet the Officers who help keep us all safer. Shake hands with Purple Heart recipients injured in the line of duty while serving our community. Kids bring your smiles and come prepared for fun, food and meet lots of everyday heroes.
